Why is Pantothenic acid good?
Pantothenic acid, also known as vitamin B.5, has several important functions in the body. Fats and carbohydrates must be converted into energy. Pantothenic acid also helps maintain normal mental performance and helps reduce fatigue and exhaustion. It also contributes to the normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D, and certain neurotransmitters.
Uptake in the body
Pantothenic acid is a water-soluble vitamin that is found in all cells in the body. There are no known side effects of pantothenic acid. Because it is water-soluble, any excess is excreted automatically.
