Adding sports drinks to the body before and during training or competition is an easy way to ensure that the body can access carbohydrates and electrolytes. Sports drinks contain a mix of carbohydrates, and this has in several studies proven to be the best for absorption in the body.
Optimizing the carbohydrate and electrolyte balance before training or competition and adding carbohydrates, electrolytes, and fluids during training or competition improves performance and time and delays fatigue.
Used primarily before and during endurance sports such as running, cycling, or cross-country skiing and can with advantage also be used during, for example, football matches, where sports drinks provide a good addition of energy.
It contains a carbohydrate mix for immediate absorption and an electrolyte mixture that replaces what you sweat out. Adjust yourself how much carbohydrates you want in you, depending on whether it is recharging or competition.
